Well then there’s Antietam

So much for the end of the war. I tried my best to keep the van headed north, but Antietam reached out and bit me. So I took a couple pictures of houses and the next thing I knew…

In the last photo you can see the tall Monument in the distance. We were standing at the bottom of the steep hill, when I thought I heard the faint sound of a bugle. Tofu and I went up the road to the parking lot., where we saw this group of reenactors. The guy who had been playing the bugle moved here from Portland, OR 5 years ago so he could spend more time active with other reenactors.

Problems with software. So I had to quit last night. Still got a problem, but I’ll publish this now and start a new one.
